A turquoise bunk bed was donated by the artist group G.U.N Ladies from Oslo

The Art of Hospitality -why we export bunk beds

In order to help finance exhibitions and projects with artists from abroad, G.U.N. came up with the idea of transforming part of the gallery into living quarters for visiting artists, complete with a bunkbed, kitchen and shower.

The members of G.U.N are: Madeleine Park, Cathrine Constanse, Mariken Kramer, Camilla Øyhus and Sabina Jacobsson

They have donated similar bunkbeds in 5 other cities and this residency therefore has cousins-a network in Riga, Valencia, Rotterdam, Stavanger and New York.
