Born in Trondheim, Norway 1975
MA of fine art; Bergen national academy of the arts 2007.
Work with video, performance, interactive installations and low-tech analogue electronics.

The stay/project is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers culture program Nordic Culture Point.

The project I'm working on during my recidency-period in Turku, originate in my fascination of light.
My aim is to create an interactive light-installation outdoors, in winter daytime-darkness.

I hope to have interesting encounters and conversations with people I meet during the process.

endless, and each value is not bound to the object, but to the existence of it in this or
that point in time and space.

I experiment with interactivity that emphasize the experience of the moment.
Movement generate meetings both inside and between people, and this again enhance reflection and change of perspective.
In my installations, it's the interactivity that actually cause visual effects to occur.
I'm often inspired by physics, poetry and playing.
The source of play is the collaboration between the human body and its environment. When interacting with the world we learn to understand it and by understanding, something become true to us.
